Privacy Policy

Effective April 20, 2026

AntiquesDirectory.com (“we,” “us,” or “the directory”) is operated by Martin Digital Assets LLC, based in Rains County, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

You give us directly

  • Account info: email address, display name, and password when you create an account.
  • Business listings: business name, address, phone, email, website, hours, photos, and descriptions when you add or claim a listing.
  • Reviews & forum posts: anything you write in reviews, forum threads, or replies.
  • Contact forms: name, email, phone, ZIP, and message content when you fill out hire-inquiry, metals buy-offer, or contact forms.
  • Payment info: when you upgrade to a paid plan, card details are collected and tokenized directly by our payment processor (Authorize.net). We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Collected automatically

  • Usage data: page views, clicks, searches, and device info via our analytics (page view count per listing, phone-click count, etc.).
  • IP address for spam prevention and rate limiting.
  • Cookies for authentication sessions, preferences, and ad personalization (see Cookies section below).

Collected via third-party integrations

  • Location (only when you click “Near Me”) — used in the moment to find nearby listings, not stored.
  • Google Maps: when a listing’s map renders, Google may set cookies per its policies.
  • Google AdSense: serves ads on some pages and may use cookies to personalize them.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate the directory — display listings, run searches, show reviews, and send transactional emails (inquiries, confirmations, account notices).
  • To improve the product — understand what’s useful, fix what’s broken.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • To send occasional product updates if you’ve opted in.
  • To facilitate the metals buy-offer marketplace (see section 4).

3. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers required to run the site, and only what they need:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting (your account data lives here).
  • Vercel — web hosting.
  • Resend — outbound transactional email.
  • Authorize.net — payment processing for paid listing plans.
  • Google — Maps display and (on some pages) AdSense advertising.
  • Twilio — SMS invitations (only if you or a referring agent initiates an SMS invite).
  • metals.dev — live precious-metal spot prices (we make this request server-side; your data is not sent to them).

We also disclose information if required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

4. The metals buy-offer marketplace

If you submit a metals buy-offer request via our melt-value calculator, the contact information you provide (name, email, phone, ZIP, and item details) is shared with antique and precious-metal dealers in our network who have explicitly opted in to receive such requests. Dealers contact you directly; we are not a party to any transaction between you and a dealer.

Business owners with listings on the directory may opt in or out of receiving these requests at any time from their account dashboard.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for three purposes:

  • Essential — authentication sessions (Supabase) and CSRF protection. Can’t be disabled without breaking sign-in.
  • Analytics — to count page views and measure traffic. Aggregated, not tied to individual accounts unless you’re signed in.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense may place cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or via the NAI opt-out.

6. Your choices

  • Access & update your account info from your account dashboard.
  • Delete your account by emailing us at the address below. We’ll close your account and delete associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records for paid plans) or necessary to preserve business-listing ownership records.
  • Unsubscribe from product emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom. Transactional emails (hire inquiries, metals offers you’ve submitted, payment receipts) are not subject to unsubscribe as they’re required to deliver the service.
  • Opt out of metals-offer sharing by not submitting the form. If you’re a business, toggle opt-in at /account/metals-optin.

7. California residents (CCPA)

If you’re a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its “sale” (we don’t sell personal information, but some advertising-cookie behavior could be considered a “sale” under CCPA). To exercise these rights, email us at the address below. We won’t discriminate against you for doing so.

8. EU/UK residents (GDPR)

If you’re in the EU or UK, our legal basis for processing is (a) performance of a contract when you create an account or submit a form, (b) legitimate interest for analytics and spam prevention, and (c) consent for advertising cookies (which you can withdraw any time). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

The directory isn’t directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we’ve inadvertently collected data from a child, let us know and we’ll delete it.

10. Data retention

We keep account data as long as your account exists. Listing content remains visible as long as the listing is active. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form indefinitely and in identifiable form for up to 24 months. Payment and billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically seven years in the United States).

11. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, row-level security on our database, and limit access to production systems to authorized administrators. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever have a breach that affects your data, we’ll notify you consistent with applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “Effective” date, and (if you have an account) by email to the address on file.
