The short version
AntiquesDirectory.com lists antique stores, thrift shops, flea markets, estate sale companies, and auction houses — 13,000+ of them across all 50 states, plus Canada, the UK, and Australia. Search by category, state, city, or the specific thing you collect.
It exists because the alternatives were rough. Half the listings were for shops that closed years ago. The other half were buried under banner ads and a thousand words of filler about the history of Depression glass. The information you actually wanted — is it open, where is it, what do they carry — was the hardest thing on the page to find.
How we think about it
- Accurate beats impressive. Right hours and a right address are worth more than any feature we could ship. A wrong zip code is the thing that gets fixed that day.
- Free, and actually free. Every listing gets everything — photos, events, analytics, lead forms. Nobody buys placement, so nobody drops down the page for not paying.
- The listings come first. There’s a forum, member profiles, check-ins, and a badge board, and people are putting them to good use. They’re here to make the directory more useful — not to turn it into a feed you have to keep up with.
