This store is very large. There is a nice spot to relax in the back. All kinds of booths. Some booths with true antiques, others with crafts and more booths with flea market type items. Friendly staff. On a busy Saturday I have seen a very long line to check out. So only improvement would be a newer system for a quicker check out process. It is definitely a store we go to anytime in the area!
About this antique store
Angel’s Antiques began in an old closed down Wal-Mart building with a hope and a dream.
The hope was for success, the dream was a business that could be a vehicle for a father and son to work together along with a wife and a baby named Angel.
The obstacle? Nobody had any money. The son, Bill, wife Connie and baby Angel were on food stamps as Angel had just had major heart surgery. Connie had a minimum wage job with insurance and Bill was cleaning toilets and having yard sales to pay the power bills. Leo, Bill’s father was on social security “drawing his pennies” when they decided to follow Bill’s plan to open an antique mall in the Opelika/Auburn area unlike anything on that side of the world.
